Everyone needs to be told that they are loved. This is true of those living with MG as well.

The number one thing I’ve learned is that you have to tell somebody every single day that you love them. You can’t assume that they know it. You can’t think, “Well, they don’t need it today,” or “I’m not up to saying it to you.” You need to tell them every single day: “Just remember, I love you.” Every day. Let them hear that.
Also, demonstrate it throughout the day. Everyone wants to hear that they are loved. Everyone wants to hear that they have value. Mother Teresa once said that the worst thing you can do—the worst thing you can say to anybody—is that they have no value.
And so I make certain, when I interact with anybody nowadays, whether it’s a sibling, a friend, or a cousin, I always end it with, “I hope you know that I love you very much.” Those aren’t just empty words. That’s the truth.
