Well, the big thing for me is — I had to figure out my personal schedule. I determine when it’s my best operating parameters — and for me, as between 11 and 2.
I mean, that’s when I set up all my appointments and interviews and everything. Friends can go a little bit beyond that.
But I absolutely turn off my phone before 10 a.m. — and after 8 p.m. and I don’t answer my phone after 6 p.m. — but I look at text and everything. I never respond to text immediately.
I always give myself time to look at something and figure out how I’m going to respond to a person. So that helps me to feel like I’m in control. It eliminates stress.
The other thing I do is I carry my phone with me, you know, everywhere — so that I don’t have to run to get something or if I need to, you know, have an emergency. It’s always right there.
