I think when people ask that question, it maybe sometimes is coming from a person who doesn’t maybe know your whole medical history. You know, it could be someone, maybe you see every once in a while.
And I think honesty, again, is another really good place to start from. You can say, “I’m not feeling so great today, but hey, it’ll get better. I’m feeling good about the future.” Or you know, “There’s been some ups and downs this week, but everything’s going to be fine.”
I think just being honest, you know, you don’t want to lie and say like, “Oh, I’m feeling super great,” but maybe physically they can tell that you’re not.
Just be straightforward and say like, “Maybe, like I said, today’s not a great day, but things are working out. We’re working towards getting better.”
