I think loved ones — they try to console and help you right away, you know. But what I think they need to do is to step back and just make sure you are getting what you need, and not them assuming that you need something you probably don’t need.
I don’t want anyone to hold me. I don’t want any of that. I just want to be able to focus on myself, breathing, and calming so that my symptoms don’t exacerbate even more. So, I think they need to step back. They need to look. They need to ask.
