I guess my life hacks are: I don’t let myself ever reach a point — or I try never to reach a point — where something might happen. So I’m very moderate. I don’t plan in advance because I will probably cancel.
So instead, I’m more of a spur-of-the-moment person. I try to exercise, and the way I do that is with the swimming pool. Walking in a swimming pool — you have no symptoms and no fatigue.
So that has been a miracle for me. And I think if most people with myasthenia would try that, they’d be amazed at having relief from all of their symptoms. It’s pretty incredible because your muscles are weightless.
