PY did help my symptoms a LOT! BUT! I had to go to an Emergency room because I had terrible stomach pain, had an IV w/medication and was rehydrated. Called my Nero and was told to stop PY. OH well, next?

Hi Sawyer. It’s the same old crap with us all, BUT if you take Mestinon ask your Doc if it’s OK to take a Probiotic, you don’t need the most expensive one, but it will help w/stomach bloating and the craps. I take a PB before my 3 pills of 60mg each.

I have a question about the Thymectomy that you talk about at the end of your msg. Can it be passed down generation to generation, like my Grandkids??
That worries me.

I finally found a MG Neurologest, and he’s giving me Pyridostigmine 60mg 3x’s a day. I feel more confident walking, I still have my cane at hand but my leg muscles are stronger. The VA Nero said the VA gave me a Generic, I think is was past it’s prime. This med. is working.
NERVER GIVE UP!
PS: look up the PACT ACT…

Do your Doctors get upset when you want to go to another Doctor and get a second opinion?
-
My daughter has tried many different neurologist. Some would not accept if I already had a neurologist. Two would not do second opinions.
But after seven years of treatment. My present neurologist decided it was all in my head.So , not sure but believe that is why UofW wouldn’t accept me.
Her referral was negative about diagnosis.

Sorry to hear about your trials. There are a lot of hoops to jump thru but keep on going till they help you(to some extent) or they say there’s nothing they can do and give you a good, valid reason. The best to you, I’m on the same train.
