I used to be a big fan of TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy and House, but have found them difficult to watch since being diagnosed with MG.

I think my PTSD from multiple hospital stays has affected my ability to watch these types of shows. Most of the time, the last thing I want to see is someone being intubated or having their chest cut open. Too many memories pop into my head from my own experiences.

Are you a fan of medical TV shows? Do you still watch them after being diagnosed with MG? Do your own experiences affect your ability to watch them?

I agree with you Michelle.  I can’t watch them anymore. I feel that they are insensitive to people, not only like us but people who also have illnesses similar to ours who suffer from trauma related to their own illness.
