How does stress affect your MG?
Many people search for information about stress as an MG trigger, especially when emotional strain seems to make symptoms worse. Stress doesn’t just live in the mind — it shows up in the body, and MG tends to amplify that connection.
In my experience, stress can flip my symptoms faster than almost anything else. Even when I think I’m handling things well, my body tells the truth before I do. My voice fades into a whisper, my muscles weaken, and suddenly I’m reminded that emotional load is a physical load too.
I’ve had to learn new ways of managing stress — not to eliminate it, but to soften its impact on my body.
