I have been on it for a while and haven’t had any major problems, you just have to start off slow on the infusion rate because you might get a nasty headache if you get to much to fast but I believe that’s true of all brands and It definitely worked for me.

I’ve been on IVIG drugs since I was diagnosed 10 years ago. The first one they put me on was Gamunex-C. It helped my gMG symptoms dramatically, but I broke out with a rash from using it. After switching to a different brand I didn’t have any more problems with the rash. This doesn’t mean that you will have the same allergic reaction. I hope it works as well for your MG symptoms as it did for mine.

Hi Jeri.
I have had Gamunex and Privigen for my infusions. I have been able to tolerate the highest drip rate for both with no side effects. I do have a power port and that has made all the difference for my infusions in general.
With the Gamunex, I would almost always “crash” and sleep for 12-15 hours the night after I got the infusion. I’ve not noticed the same exhaustion post Privigen infusion. Other than that, that is the only difference I’ve noticed.
I’ve written about my infusion experiences. I hope this one helps.
