I noticed that everyone is concentrating on mestinon. I seem to recall that chronic diarrhea can be a primary symptom of MG. Mine goes way back to before medications

I agree with Jonathan A. I did a fecal test while using a diarrhea stool and am now heading for a colonoscopy. I have never had one but I suppose it it is a good thing to get done. I am just scared now.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

Cut your dosage back until it stop then increase the dose slowly. The 60 mg pills break in half very easily.

I try to stick with 60mg three time a day and would love to cut that in halve eventually. I use imodium only when I need to and I am slowly learning what foods to avoid. I can’t tolerate spicy food or pork. I have to limit potatoes and I try to avoid fried foods. Pizza really makes it worse too. It is different for some people though so try to keep a food diary to help you recognize your triggers

What i have done for diahhrea is, I changed to celtic salt.I thak 3 to 4 pinches of celtic salt a day.it took 3 days to work.celtic salt lets your water absorb into your cells table does not. we also use himalayan salt for cooking.you can go on youtube and look up barba Oneil –salt and water. she explain it real well. hope this helps. It changed my life.
