Accepting Life’s Imminent Trials
I am currently waiting in the cardiothoracic surgeon’s office for my thymectomy consultation. With a view of the bay and downtown Tampa, I am surprisingly relaxed compared to my last surgery consultation and past procedures. I have been accepting that this surgery could help me fulfill my goals in the future and how that outweighs the hardships that will accompany.
People, especially those living with MG and additional illnesses, must practice receiving things without immense grief in life to be happy. Regardless of whether we understand everything’s greater purpose in our lives, presume that it all happens in divine timing. You may never fully come to know why life handed you those difficult trials to take on.
How do you mentally prepare yourself for upcoming challenges you know are coming your way?
