MG Walks
April 5 @ 10:00 AM - November 1 @ 1:00 PM

MG Walks raise critical funds for myasthenia gravis research, education, and resources for those affected by MG. But this isn’t your average fundraising walk! Join the MG Community for a morning of fun and fundraising that is accessible to all. Expect music, games, activities, snacks, and time to connect with friends new and old. MG may be a rare disease, but you don’t have to go it alone! Whether you choose to walk with us or make a gift, your contribution brings MGFA one step closer to a world without MG.
How do I register for the MG Walk?
Registration is required to participate in the MG Walk — See below to check if there is an MG Walk located in a city near you!
Register as an individual, start a new team, or join an existing team. Next, create a fundraising page and share why you’re walking for A World Without MG. Then invite your network to support you!
Registration is $25 for adults and free for youth. All registered attendees receive an MG Walk t-shirt. If you have any questions or issues, reach out to [email protected].

Do I have to fundraise?
Fundraising is an important way you can take action to support critical myasthenia gravis research, education, and awareness. MGFA will provide a fundraising toolkit and share tips along the way to help you succeed. Fundraisers are also eligible for prizes! That said, you do not have to fundraise to take part in the MG Walk.
Do I have to walk?
No, the MG Walk is an all-abilities event that focuses on fun, family, and fundraising. While a portion of the event will be a traditional “walk” around a wheelchair-accessible section of the park, you don’t need to walk or wheel to have a great time. No matter your mobility or ability, there’s a way to participate, have fun, and raise awareness of this devastating rare disease.
How do I donate?
To support an MG Walk, you can make a gift on the walk’s registration page. Find a link to each MG Walk page below. If you or your business would like to sponsor this event, please reach out via this form or by emailing Tasha Duncan.
How do I volunteer?
Volunteers make MGFA events possible! If you would like to help, we will find a role that meets your abilities. Tasks MGFA often needs assistance with include set up / take down, greeting attendees, check-in table, and snack table. Let them know you are interested!
