Mirla Ávila, MD

Mirla Ávila, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and fellowship-trained specialist in multiple sclerosis (MS) and neuroimmunology, with more than a decade of experience treating neurological and autoimmune disorders. Dr. Ávila spent approximately 13 years at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she provided patient care and contributed to research, medical education, and physician training. A fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, she now practices in Miami, Florida, with a focus on individualized care, patient education, and preventive neurology. Outside of medicine, Dr. Ávila is a recording artist and voting member of the Recording Academy and Latin Recording Academy.
