Aliya Askhatkyzy

Aliya Askhatkyzy, 20, is a student from Kazakhstan studying abroad at the University of Amsterdam. After being diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (MG), she switched her major from ecology to biomedicine. She hopes to become a doctor, using her experience with MG to support others with chronic diseases.
