I never park in handicap posted spots. Iโ€™ll walk. I do this because it does build up those muscles that tend to weaken. There are many people much worse than MG people. They need those spots much more than we do. โ€œIn many casesโ€..I feel sorry for those that need that spot but cannot find one available because someone has used their elderly or physically disadvantaged parents mirror hanger for their own unneeded use. It always amazes me when some healthy person pulls in and jogs into the fitness center. Guess thatโ€™s just the society we now live in. Remember when people would open and hold doors for disadvantaged people. Donโ€™t see that much anymore. Where did respect and good old fashioned good manners go. Out to lunch I guess.

I kind of think he should give it time. My MG bounced all over. Then after a short Time it started to stabilize. I believe it was me just getting use to the meds. I also switched times when I would take my pills. Now I have it under control. At this stage of new meds coming onto the market I feel it would be better to wait. To many side affects. Iโ€™m healthy except for MG. I donโ€™t need any other things causing problems. Let me addโ€”My opinionโ€”within two years they will have a near perfect med for MG. Why you askโ€”- A.I Artificial Intelligence. Its going to change the world.

My eyes just go in and out of focus. They also water. Just like Niagara Falls. I just pull over and clear my eyes. B

Iโ€™m having that dropping eyelid surgery late Sept. much of it is simply because of age. It in itself is common. Pretty much like getting a free facelift. Iโ€™ll post after the surgery and let all know how it helped the horrible watery eyes. That is what causes the vision problems according to my specialist. After the results are in they may optimize the additional upper eyelid surgery. If it werenโ€™t for the eye problems Iโ€™d be almost back to my old self aside from the leg weakness. But Iโ€™m getting there. I went to Dent for 3 years and never once did they mention a solution through surgery. ย All they said was there is nothing that will help. ย Then again I only saw the Doctor once. Alway the physician assistant. After a short time I new the routine better than them. You knowโ€” the pull push, push the eyelids, push the head etc. so go for the surgery if thatโ€™s possible for you. Iโ€™ll report my findings late Sept. Best of luck

Let me addโ€” my thought would be the Mestinon changes the muscle around the entire face. Iโ€™ve now noticed the face muscles dropping in general. Granted Mestinon helps restore muscle strengthโ€” but in my case it seem those muscles have a negative strength value. There is no question the lower lid is weak. This causing abnormal tearing. The minor operation is scheduled for September 28th. Lower eyelids will be drawn tight and sutured. Once and for all Iโ€™ll know if MG or just old age eyelid dropping is the cause for watery eyes. ย Iโ€™m betting both. Cause and affect seems to be the answer to my question.
    Free facelift to boot.

One last thing. Iโ€™ve found itโ€™s pretty much up to you to regulate everything. There is nothing set in concrete. ย After so long you get the hang of what works, when it works, how much, how little and how everything reacts to your system. Trial and error. Plus after so long your ahead of the curve. Your better versed than whoever is seeing you. After 5 years Iโ€™ve seen the Doctor twice. First visit and then a nerve continuity test. Other than that I get the ย assistant. ย Same thing every visit. The routines never changeโ€” push pull arms legs, eyelids and follow the finger left and right. So keep records and adjust meds slightly. But always keep the med staff filled in by your Portal

Vision issues would probably be the need for increasing Prednisone. Iโ€™m assuming your taking thatโ€”-The increased Mestinon

would not help vision. Muscle in your arms and legs plus swallowing would benefit Mestinon. There is a plus and minus taking to much or little of the Mestinon. Be careful. After considerable trial and error and visits to my Neurologist an eye doctor discovered my lower eyelids dropped. ย This caused the eye to tear and be pulled away from the eye. The tears never made it to the tear ducts..minor surgery will correct. Waiting for appointment.
