Sharing Your Diagnosis With Friends and Colleagues
I recently wrote a column about the difficulties I had talking about MG.
I didn’t like to share my story with others, even with close friends made after I was diagnosed with MG, because I felt like it was too personal of a story to tell. Eventually, I realized how my diagnosis doesn’t define me but reminds me of how far I’ve come.
Do you share your MG story with others? Why or why not? Have any of your friendships changed after sharing your diagnosis?
