• Neostigmine bromide nasal spray

Does anyone else have experience with neostigmine bromide nasal spray? It is made in the pharmacy according to a specific recipe. I use it almost every day. The medication is absorbed through the mucous membranes and takes effect within a few minutes. However, the duration of the effect is very limited (10 to 60 minutes).

It helps me a lot with my swallowing problems and I can therefore take the other medication without any problems. It is also a helpful companion before meals or meetings because of its rapid effect.

Thanks for sharing! You’re on to something: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/1573422/ The article mentions no side effects – have you had any? Any nose bleeds?

I take Cellcept regularly but use a Mestinon tablet as needed as a quick pick up for muscle fatigue, especially with swallowing, but I get severe eye twitches from Mestinon. I’ll discuss neostigmine nasal spray as a possible alternative with my neurologist.

So interesting! Wonder if it could help with brain fog by delivery acetylcholine directly to the brain.

    Has anyone tried DMSO?
