  Eye Dilation drops with Ocular MG on prednisone

  Looking for any experiences with eye dilation and interactions from the drops used and MG or prednisone. I am preparing for a visit to the ophthalmologist and they are requesting to dilate my eyes – I am assuming it is to test the ocular hypertension (eye pressure).

  Based on what they’ve used for my husband’s dilation (0.5% Proparacaine, 2.5% Phenylephrine, 1.0% Tropicamide), I’ve come across a couple websites stating the Proparacaine and Tropicamide ‘may’ cause issues/exacerbation with the MG.

  Appreciate any shared stories.
