I was diagnosed in 2005. I received high doses of prednisone and put on cellcept, which saved my life. I have been in remission since 2010. Over the years I have small flare ups, from infections, to much required 10mg of prednisone. These pass 4 months, due to RSV, bronchitis and surgery to my knee I haven’t been able to bounce back. So for the first time in my life I just finished IVIG. The side effects were terrible but I had to push through. Now I’m just waiting to get back to feeling like me. MG doesn’t control me, I control MG.
