I was diagnosed with MG after many doctors did not know what was going on with me. It took 7 years and all kinds of meds and nothing worked. My regular doctor was on vacation and I saw the doctor filling in and she said have they tested you for MG. I never heard of it, and off I went to see a Neurologist for the first time and bingo.! I was put on the medication Mestinon and 3 days later I was improving ; this was before my test came back. My test came back Neg. But the doctor said I was seronegative and 10 % of the people show up this way. I have the drooping eye and issues with swallowing, walking at times, and no muscle strength. I thought I had a stroke.
