Was diagnosed with MG in September 2018 in Thailand and initially, it was thought being envenomated (not simply bitten) by a beautiful Banded Krait snake (relatively toxic) in Cambodia while on an assignment to the World Bank was causally linked to this incident. However, now no one is sure so I have settled into a regime of 10 mg of Prednisolone daily. Is it effective? Well seems to be so although I have had to limit my consumption of alcohol to 3 or 4 standard drinks today and undertake physically active work for about 2 to 3 hours and spend 5 to 6 hours on “intellectual labor”. At 70 I think this is more than enough and while I wish I was not afflicted with MG I have an excellent neurologist who encourages me to relax sometimes and the family are gnerally supportive.
