Positive test for MG in 2012.

First Double vision April 1974, 3 months before separation from Army.

My mind now handles double vision by my brain blocking the image and/or drooping eye lid.

In process of getting disability from VA for Myasthenia Gravis and double vision, service connection is started while in the Army.  This presumption has limitations.  3 months ago I started to receive disability for the double vision.

Be aware MG is on the list of presumptive service connected chronic diseases list, in the section next to agent orange.

To apply, 1) File a letter of intent, which becomes your start date for benefits.  2)  Research the application process on Youtube.  3) Get help from someone/organization that knows the general system.  4) Try getting old records from St. Louis archives and your “C-file” with the VA.  (Your claim file has 90% of my service records.)  5) Remember VA raters know nothing about MG.
