Had thymoma 35 years ago and then after 6 months diagnosed with mg. Tried everything, IVIG, plasma prednisone and several various immune suppressing drugs along with mestinon. Eventually, was in remission except for mestinon.  Had to watch activity level but for the main could live normally. Fast forward 30 years and hit with much, much worse symptoms. Could not use my hands and so weak could barely get dressed. Never any eye problems, only arm and leg weakness. Again, tried all drugs. IVIG often as holder so I didn’t get worse. Kaiser was fantastic, eventually letting me try Solaris etc to no avail. Then clinical trial of Cartesion drug. It helped a lot but wore off. Continued in new clinical trial of same drug to test timing. After 5 months, no impact at all. No drugs or anything for a year and slipping.  Wanted to try Vygart but my labs are bad. Perhaps IVIG again.
