I’m 80 now and had my crisis three years ago.  I couldn’t lift my head off my chest.  Three weeks in ICU and two weeks more in Eisenhower hospital got me into rehab and home.  Now I’m on the downhill run of the roller coaster with no rises.  I was told there would be some ups but they lied.

I live alone with cats Oscar Wilde Cat and Cleo Cat Ra.  I have a caregiver 3 hours a day and I’m able to shower and take care of my hygiene.  I can drive if I feel up to it or to doctors.  The caregiver does shopping now for me and is starting to cook.  He is a godsend.
I have had two doses of Moderna vaccine with no problems. I wear a mask outside and shopping.  Antivax folks deserve whatever happens to them.

I have a big TV and cable so I live in bed and it’s football and World Series time to occupy me.  I was once a voracious reader but now I just read HuffPost and the Guardian.
