• Living with unpredictable MG energy levels: How do you cope with the ups and downs?

Unpredictable MG energy levels can make daily life feel like a moving target. Many people search for ways to cope with fluctuating fatigue, sudden weakness, or days when their body simply won’t cooperate.

In my experience, MG feels like starring in a mystery movie I never auditioned for. One minute I’m moving just fine, and the next, my muscles behave like someone cut the power line. The inconsistency can be frustrating — especially after years of being told my symptoms were “all in my head.”

What’s helped me is building flexibility into my routines and giving myself permission to adjust without guilt. I’ve learned to celebrate the good hours and soften around the harder ones.

How do you cope with the ups and downs of MG energy levels? What helps you stay grounded when your body’s rhythm changes unexpectedly?

Good evening, it is tough and so frustrating. I pray God to give me physical strength as well as mental strength. My weak symptoms are really weird it’s when I first wake up and as the day goes on it gets better then in the evening I start feeling weak again. I take mestinon 180mg ER before bed and that’s helped tremendously I’m also on VYVGART infusions which lasts a long time before symptoms reappear. It took a long time to find what works for me and I’ve been on prednisone for 9 years with no success of fully weaning off. I hope your doctor finds the best combination that works for you.
