I am seronegative.  I was diagnosed a year ago.  I currently take 180 mg of pyridostigmine Xr twice daily.  I have issues with my voice, weakness, swallowing, and occasional breathing.  Lately I have had issues with double vision.  If you are doing a zoom meeting still I would definitely be interested in joining if it is not too full for one more person.  Most people  in my area have never heard of MG and I don’t have the voice to explain it to them.

Thank You everyone who has posted about hearing loss and MG.  I have learned so much from you all and had so many questions answered about hearing loss and ringing in my ears.  What an eye opener that it could all be related to the MG.

I was diagnosed with seronegative a year ago although we now know I had symptoms for several years before it got bad enough I finally went to the doctor who recognized right away that something was wrong and I needed to see a neurologist.  My voice is the first thing to get weak and then it goes down hill from there.  The weakness and not being able to do all the  things I have done for my entire life is the hardest to handle.  If I only knew how to figure out when I am going to hit that wall and not be able to go on I think it would make it much easier to deal with.  Who knows though maybe I am just a slow learner or ever the optimist that today is going to be the day I am normal again.

Sorry you have had such a rough time lately.  I had three full doses of the Covid vaccine and had covid.  Not sure where I picked it up but being a virus it could have been anywhere.  While I take precautions I am not sure I can do a lot for protection other than the shots for the flu and covid.  I am up to date for this year and healthy so far which I am very thankful for.

My voice is the first thing to go and I did a lot of talking on the phone so I have had to semi retire (what we call it) because I could not keep up with both home life and my job.  I chose home life and am now figuring out my routine at home and what I can do and for how long.  I have come to terms with I can only go for so long before I have to rest even though I still feel bad if my husband is working or comes in from work and I am resting on the couch.  I do think he enjoys the home cooked meals now and having a clean house.

I was diagnosed just under a year ago.  I believe it was the EMG test that pretty much confirmed the diagnosis along with the symptoms I was having. I also responded well to the Mestinon.  I was told the excellent results with the Mestinon was very helpful with confirming the diagnosis.
