I take a small amount of prednisone and half my dose of Cellcept with other meds with a fodmap breakfast. I also take omneprazole half an hour before breakfast and sometimes before dinner. I use 8mg of Zolfran as needed. Given the long term problems with my digestive system, I try to follow a Fodmap diet which is pretty restrictive and helps with food intolerances but makes me feel better.
I also suck on ginger candy which helps with my nausea.

I have difficulty walking from a serious auto accident, degeneration of spinal chord and pain and weakness from MG.  Since my near fatal accident in March 2017, I have lost relationships with people who get bummed out hanging out with people who are disabled.  One former very close friend said she wanted to be with friends who make her happy; another could not deal with the emotions that would surface when she was with me.  I am learning about the impairment on the body that occurs with MG from my new PT who is wonderful.  I am learning to take breaks when I am tired and learning to accept myself through the Myasthenia Gravis News.

I was given 300mg gabapentin for Chronic Pain Syndrome after a major car accident and following diagnosis of MG.  I ended up having chest pain.  Looked up the adverse effects of Gabapentin and discovered that it could cause chest pains or tightness in chest.  Took myself off the med right away with a phone call to my pain doc.
