Penicillamine could trigger myasthenia gravis
Penicillamine (Depen Titratabs, Cuprimine) is used to treat Wilson’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis. It is scientifically suggested through studies that it has been the trigger for some MG patients’ symptoms.
Are you one of these individuals whose MG began after the use of penicillamine? How did your MG symptoms change if you then discontinued the use of penicillamine?
