How did your family and friends react to your diagnosis?
Are your family and friends as overwhelmed as you are/were when you got diagnosed with MG?
How are you helping them to understand what MG is and how it affects you?

Shocked and didn’t understand. For me, it was like being struck by lightning. One day I was fine, the next I wasn’t. Explaining the disease to them was easy. Them discovering that you can’t really “see” my symptoms has taken more time and patience. I appear to be fine on the outside. As soon as I speak though, it’s a different story.
