Good day Michelle, I Have a question about Mestinon 60mg tablets cost. I pay the equivalent of $130 for a bottle of 150. The question is; why so high now, as the FDA approved Mestinon as far back as 1955, yes 1955, so the Pharma have made their money, so why do the tablets remain this costly?

Hi Jodi. When I have weakness in my neck I revert to laying back on our lounge sofa until I feel that some strength returns.I am fortunate that I am retired and no need to get tasks done in a hurry. Going back in time I recall that my dad referred to me having a floppy head when I was about 15 to months old. Nothing was thought of it in mid nineteen forties then. At the moment I tend to have a bit of torticollis that I live with, causing me to have a slight tilted head now.

Hi Jodi, When I first consulted my neurologist in 2020, she told me that magnesium works against the action of AChR at the neuro-muscular junction, and that I must spot taking magnesium supplements

My neurologist classified my MG as — Class lla seronegative for Anti-AChR Ab —
I do not quite understand what this means and do not know my prognosis for the future. I am 77 going 78 and only take 2 x 60mg Mestinon per day, as the side effects on my bowl/bladder with a third tablet is very disruptive. I have my good days and very few bad days at the moment. When my muscles ache on a day I stick it out until the evening, then only I take an anti-inflamatory before going to bed so that I can fall asleep.
