  • Yes, I contracted Covid end of April. I’m unvacc’d. I had a headache in the middle of the afternoon and took a one hour nap. Woke up and felt fine. Got out of the shower before bed the same day and had hot sweats. Took a test and tested positive. I went to bed and woke up with no symptoms after that. I stayed home for three days and worked out. Went outside and played two hours of pickle ball with my son. Thankful that I haven’t had any issues with MG since :))

I’ve not gotten any of the vaccines and have no intention of getting them.. there’s just too many unknowns for me. I am three years post thymectomy and six years living with MG. I’m generally healthy and on 40 mg dose of prednisone and or a Mestinon.  I work out every day and eat well.  I think the risk outweighs the benefit for me:)) wishing you all good health :))

I love everything about your post. You don’t need to preach when people see you, they’ll see Him.. I’m happy to have my faith and future in His hands 😉

Oh, how I long to be able to run the way I used to. I really enjoy doing half marathons.  I have a busy life, so I don’t have the time to actually train for a fall. I also play several hours a day of tennis. I wish there was a recipe for being able to figure out how to run again. Right now I’m only able to do 3 to 4 miles. My MG has progressed to the point that my upper leg muscles are deteriorating/wasting. I’ve done lots of tests to try and figure out what’s going on. I now have numbness in my lower legs and feet. Going to try two weeks of prednisone. I’ll let you know how that goes. I would love to hear if anybody has figured out a medication to help with fatigue?!? :))

I’m so sorry to hear about your husband. This is why people shouldn’t be running out and getting a vaccine that hasn’t been in existence for more than 18 months. There’s not enough history. I’m not an anti-VAXer, but I haven’t received the vaccine yet as there is a lot of medication to help with COVID-19.  I’ve myasthenia gravis for six years and I am three years post thymectomy. I take my health very seriously and I’m at the gym every day. I’m not a fan of medication but have to take it for both MG and Hashimoto’s. I’m starting prednisone tomorrow for two weeks as my muscles are rapidly wasting. I was tested for LEMs MG but they came back negative. Good luck, fellow  MGers. Stay safe

I have not gotten the vaccine and this is precisely why. It’s not been around long enough for me to run out and get it. People judge, but it’s my body. I’m not harming anybody else by not getting vaxed. Praying that you feel better soon. 🙏🏼☺️
