I am 81 yrs. old and was diagnosed with MG at the age of 40 yrs. I was in nursing school, doing very well with my studies and loving it. I was getting more tired during my training, finally saw my doctor when ptosis was really bad. Sent to a university where I was diagnosed during a ten day stay. I had a lot of pain in my legs when active and was told, no pain with MG. Retired now, seronegative for MG and RA. Still have leg pain; there is a problem with leg muscles; that’s my story and I’m sticking to it. Will never know what the problem is, but started with the MG. I still have trouble with weakness and need a lot of sleep. Am having IVIG treatments once a month for 4 days.
