Diagnosed with MG after having asymptomatic Covid early on. Found the enlarged thymus 6 months before MG diagnosed. Nine months after MG diagnosis then diagnosed with Lambert Eaton as well, plus a few other autoimmune conditions. Have had stable pernicious anemia for 30 years before all this. Made it through VATS thymectomy, 2 spinal surgeries, 3 ports and a partridge in a pear tree, after MG thymectomy. Sometimes I think being a physician helps. I take Pyridostigmine, Firdapse and do IVIG and plasmapheresis. Immunosuppressants – oodles of side effects. Have been in respiratory failure, and non-invasive ventilator (ASTRAL) huge help in breathing and stabilizing.
