Was diagnosed in 1976 at age of 15. Serious symptoms droopy eyes nasal Speech unable to swallow and barely walk eventually respiratory arrest finally a diagnosed after a tensilon test Thymus was removed many post op complications tracheostomy performed feeding tube inserted spent 6 months on ventilator after 9 months in hospital went home. Graduated high school went on to college became a respiratory therapist! I’m 61 now and only take prednisone. The first few years were tough but worth it. Thank goodness medicine has come along was in 45 years
