Short Bio |
I am a 60 year old male that has been relatively healthy all my life, other than athletics related musculoskeletal issues. At 57 experienced double vision one night, that went away almost immediately. The next morning, woke with double vision that would not go away, and quickly progressed into both eyes closed. My eyes remained closed for about 3 months, and took about a month to completely open again once they started to open. During that period, I was referred to a neurologist who diagnosed my MG. I have had two crisis episodes since, and this disease has turned my world upside down. IVIG had no effect. I had my Thymus removed in 2020. That seemed to help for about nine months, then went into crisis, and have had significant issues since. I am not responding to meds like I once did.
