Profile

First diagnosed in 1990 at 22 years old. Had a thymectomy within a few months of diagnosis. I took mestinon as needed for about 7 years when I was told I was in remission. I was able to live symptom free until 2019 when I started experiencing double vision, trouble swallowing, and weakness in my neck. My double visions and neck weakness were new symptoms that I didn’t experience back in 1990.
