  Thymus gland question

  Let me begin with a brief history. I’m 72, and was diagnosed with Ocular MG in 2018, which has since progressed to gMG about one year ago (weak neck and shoulder muscles, eyelid closure, trouble chewing). I’m up to 120mg X 4/daily Mestinon and 15 mg prednisone. First two cycles of Vyvgart relieved my symptoms, but now it’s less effective with each cycle administered. And now for the thymus question: Back in 1954, I was a “ thymus-irradiated baby” in Cuba. I had a negative CT Chest back in 2018, but false-positives and negative do occur. When I bring this up with my MD, he’s not very impressed. Wouldn’t it be something if my thymus was the culprit all along. I’d love to hear anything from anybody with a similar experience or even a healthcare professional’s opinion.
