Both are dioxin driven. I am also a vet, not Vietnam but 77-97. I was in Kunsan ROK 83-84 and some were still burning rice fields back then which produce dioxins like agent orange. I’m 100% disabled with the VA but was still trying to get them to recognize MG/GMG as service connected to no avail. There is case history out of Waco Texas concerning MG being caused by Agent Orange in Vietnam. They ruled in favor of the vet in this case.

As they should! Is 100pct all from MG? I was there in Cu Chi 67, They said it was a DEFOILIANT, so don’t worry 19yr olds! I got out 68, got married 70, my wife said I was deaf, so I went to the VA(took a day off) they said yes, you need hearing aids, but you have to come back to check for Tinnitus! Another day off w/no $$? Now I had Kids, couldn’t afford it! Next, they found Pollops in my Colon, removed. Next Thyroid Cancer, removed 3/4. I had a back injury, and they did a test and found I had no nerve between my low back and my big toe. I told my Doctor at that time, 87, that I see a little double; he sent me for Vertigo tests. The nurse seen something was wrong w/my left eye, but my Doc never said or did anything. I joined the VA in 2018.The VA doctors never looked at anything that might have them say “AGENT ORANGE” exposure. I finally went to my own Neurologist that deals with w/immune disorders, and he said yes! MG. Another Neuro said Ataxia also and Ocular MG.

      YES I’M a FOOL!

My 100% was from a series of other military related affects. I was pushing the MG to get them to recognize it formally. Never consider yourself a fool. I didn’t even file anything for 20+ years. It’s just the path we chose.

I too new nothing about AO. In the 70’s I had Thyroid Cancer, Bladder Cancer, no feeling in my legs( found out latter it was Peripheral Neuroprathy) , Ocular MG. A friend died of bladder cancer, he was a VN Vet, His wife talked me into going to the VA, in 2018!!!!! You have to show PROOF! ? All those doctors are DEAD and they don’t save records from that long ago. I couldn’t work for 40 yrs now………Trump wants to pay the ATTACKERS of our Capitol, not the injured police or VETERANS! 🤬
