After 8 years of MG take Cellcept 3/day all was good until about 1 year ago I get Pneumonia about every 6 weeks and i am now going to try IV IG and hope it helps . Has anyone had this happen or know any who has ,please reply GIBBY

Hello Gibby, I was on Vyvgart and low dose prednisone for 2 years, developed a UTI in January, and the medication stopped working. Currently, in the process of finding a new medicine to control my myasthenia. Over the past year I’ve used IVIG on 4 separate occasions. I find it stops symptom progression, but not reversal of my symptoms. I know 2 people with mg that do achieve symptom reversal and feel better with IVIG.

Hi Gibby,
I haven’t experienced this with the medication you mentioned, but hoping someone who has will comment soon to give their insight. I know all too well how disappointing it is when meds cause infections and other unwanted side effects.
