I was born sick, however, being born on an Island… Key West did not damper my way of life. Growing up with limitations… Being weak from Myasthenia Gravis among other Diseases Asthma and Gastrology problems that have led to me being an Ostamate in my later life. I can tell you is being “Sick is not for the Weak” This is my quote and I say it for many reasons.  I Lived an adventurous life and I am Still LIVING a life I set out to live, I have accomplished much of the things I wanted to do.  I never let being sick hold me back for long.

I am now a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 2 and that is another story in itself that led me into my friend and OB/GYN leading me into Midwife studies…My true profession is a Librarian as I am an Avid reader and noting gave me such happiness as being surrounded by books. I also enjoy writing. In my glory days, I was an artist and even did commissions in my teen years for tourists in Key West who wanted canvas of local artwork.

Leaving Key West, to go north for school was one of the hardest decisions I had to make, however, it was worth it to experience the beautiful canopy roads of Tallahassee and swamps of North Florida, I loved visiting and swimming every Saturday at Wakulla Springs where one of my favorite movies was filmed, Swamp Thing.

Now I am in Central/South Florida and about to move back home soon. My health has me stationed more so home these days, thank goodness for my love of books, technology, anime, and games.

Life is always a challenge limitation or not, remember to never stop living, never stop giving, and know you are worth it every breath you take!
