Short Bio |
I was diagnosed with gMG in 2009 and had a thymectomy immediately. Pyridostigmine was prescribed as treatment five times daily. After approximately a year the eMG went into remission for several years. The symptoms gradually returned and I went into. A myasthenic crisis and was hospitalized.
The eMG now affects mostly my arms, neck and swallowing. Staying on strict schedule of Pyridostigmine and mycophenolate has made life easier. My neurologist recently prescribed vyvgart and I am just finishing my initial treatment of four infusions.
