I was and I am 87. I can’t tell MG symptoms from old age symptoms, except for breathing issues, which are improving with meds.

It’s great to hear that your breathing issues are improving with medication. Every bit of progress counts! It can undoubtedly be challenging to distinguish between symptoms of MG and those that come with aging.

Symptoms, including drooping eyelids, double vision, arm or leg weakness, difficulty swallowing or speaking, and pain, can overlap with normal aging. Keeping a journal of symptoms, when they occur, and what triggers them can help you and your doctor determine the cause.
