SUMMARY:MDA Engage Symposium: Atlanta\, GA
DESCRIPTION:This Engage Symposium will offer sessions on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)\, spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)\, Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD)\, Becker muscular dystrophy (BMD)\, research and clinical trial updates for all diagnoses\, as well as sessions on daily living such as nutrition\, exercise\, and transitioning to adulthood. Attendees will also have the chance to connect socially with others in the community and browse our Community Resource Hall to learn about other organizations and businesses supporting the neuromuscular community. MDA is pleased to have Dr. Jun Ho Kim from Children’s Hospital of Atlanta and Dr. Jonathan Glass from Emory University co-chairing this Engage Symposium.
